ENERGY前团员“牛奶”单飞3年，最近用回本名“叶乃文”推出个人首张专辑《舞是刀》，历经3年自我磨练，他胸围暴增为100公分，腹部顶起6块肌，被粉丝赞为“人体寿司”，他打趣说自己跳舞常翻跟斗，应该叫“回转寿司”。
　　离开歌坛3年，牛奶忙着在台湾经营舞蹈学校，因他获得本地歌手何耀珊的赏识，引荐签入本地“思创”经纪成为师姐弟，酝酿多时，终于完成这张新专辑。

It's not often that someone gets a phone call from the legendary Olivia Newton-John — and especially not to collaborate on a song. But it happened to Singaporean singer Sun Ho. "She made quite a few calls to me even before we met and was telling me what the song would be like and what she wanted me to do," said a clearly excited Ho over the phone from her apartment in New York. The two songbirds worked together on Isn't it Amazing for cancer-survivor Newton-John's upcoming Songs of Hope and Inspiration: Olivia and Friends album to raise funds for a cancer support centre and to commemorate her awareness-raising Great Walk to Beijing earlier this month. Other artistes on the album include Keith Urban, Richard Marx, and Cliff Richard. Ho's part in the song was recorded in the United States — where she is working on her new album — while Newton-John did her bit in Australia before finally meeting recently to put the final touches to the track at rapper-cum- producer Wyclef Jean's studio in New York. "When we finally met at Wyclef's studio, I actually felt like I already knew her and she was exactly how I expected her to be: Very warm, very real and very pretty, of course," said the 37-year-old singer. "Having this chance was like a dream come true, you know, to be able to sing with her in a studio." Besides hobnobbing with celebrities like Newton-John, Ho was also kept busy after being picked as a "Music Ambassador" for the Beijing Olympic Games this year. In February, she became the first person to sing the century-old Olympic anthem in Mandarin at the Forbidden City. But the most of her time is spent on her new album, due early next year, which she is working on with Jean. One of the songs making a buzz is China Wine — the video of which features Ho shaking her bum in tight shorts and gyrating between two homeboys. "If people are saying it is sexy, I'll take that as a compliment," she said when asked if it wasn't a bit too revealing for someone who is seen as a role model for youth and is closely associated with a church. Ho is married to Reverend Kong Hee, the founder of the City Harvest Church in Singapore. She also used to be the church's music director. She said: "But it was not so much intentional … The whole theme was focused on how to bring out something new with an Asian influence but yet relevant to the American market." She also defended the "Geisha" persona she plays in the video where she pretty much comes across as a vindictive ah lian who catches her man cheating. "I was careful about that. Wyclef wanted to use the 'Geisha' persona. At this moment, this is what American people know about Asia. Memoirs of a Geisha is big in the US at the moment," she added. And it seems to have caught the public's eye because, at last count, the video had received over 600,000 views on YouTube. So with things really taking off for her in the States, does this mean we will be seeing less of her here? "Definitely not! Singapore is my home and my family is there and I really miss home. I miss my mum and dad," said Ho, adding that the reason she spends most of her time in the US is because of the new album. "Please tell everybody I love Singapore, and besides my family, I also miss my mee siam and lontong," said the mother of a three-year-old boy. Ho was last in Singapore in October. On 29 February 2008, The Beijing Olympics launched its travelling exhibition “Olympic Philately & Cultural Tour” with the officiating ceremony held at the grand Royal Theatre within the famed Forbidden City.
During the ceremony, the Olympic Hymn was sung for the first time ever in Mandarin, and taking on the honoured role was our very own Sun!
Shining in a beautiful yellow qipao (cheongsam) and accompanied by a choir of Overseas Chinese from 16 different nationalities, Sun performed beautifully and mesmerised the crowd present with her pitch-perfect rendition of the Hymn. Three cheers for Sun!
Not only were the key leaders of the International Olympic Committee present, but also watching her perform were many other important officials from the Ministry of Culture, Chinese Olympic Committee and the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad.
When interviewed, Sun told leading global provider of breaking news Reuters that, as an overseas Chinese, she was very proud of China hosting the Olympics and it was important to believe in ourselves no matter what others may say. The event was also broadcast and reported on other major news service providers, Phoenix, Channel News Asia and CCTV.
Wow! Sun is sure doing Singapore proud by shining her brightest on the Beijing Olympics.

Hey guys, 没办法在最快的时间上来写东西，真的很不好意思...

我一直在四处奔波，忙碌着许多事情！！觉得很有挑战,但是也很有成就感！每次和Wyclef站在台上演出，他都要"改变"我投入艺妓的角色，虽然和我的本性很不同，我却觉得是对艺人一个很好的激发. 希望你们能看到也会喜欢在这新舞台上我所诠释的角色！

我将在这周末和 Wyclef 一起为他最新的歌曲Fast Car拍摄音乐录影带。在和Clef 去LA表演之前，我可能会出席些在Bryant park举办的时装秀，开会，如果有时间就参加葛莱美奖 ... Phew！！Thank God 我找到一位很厉害的按摩师来帮我舒解压力！！

华人新年又到了！

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR :) It's time for the pineapple tarts, mandarin oranges, ba kua, kue bak kit & all nonya goodies to take the stage again! They are gonna be the star for the next 2 weeks or so in all cheena homes.

Music Is My Life! ~ What a statement declaring one's love & dependence on music.
I read about "No-Music Day", a 24 hour ban of music in any form, of any sorts, anywhere in the land. The thought of it is so intimidating. Imagine a world without music...

Walking down the streets in the morning & no shops' speakers are blaring as it always, earphones unplugged as you drag your feet up the steps to your usual desk. Your fingers on the keyboard circles over the familiar i-tunes icon on your desktop & double clicks. Opps. Wrong move. Dragging to the X at the top right hand side, a sense of dread comes over you as realization hits. NO MUSIC. That's how it is gonna be for the rest of the day.

Well, fine, you think. Walk over to the pantry & get a cup of coffee. As the brown luscious liquid fills your cup, your heart picks a beat & your lips begin to move. A familiar melody fills the air. But stone stares shoots from behind & you were hit back down to planet earth. Again. NO MUSIC. Alright, enough.

The turmoil continues. The only sound the human ear detected were machines zapping hard, vacuum cleaner sucking, rollers on the floor. How long is this going to be. Heaven knows. What time is it now. Barely past 12. Just 2 words. NO MUSIC.

Rings in the mind. NO MUSICC.

One more time, NO M-U-S-I-C.

国际流行歌手何耀珊在忙于录制个人专辑之外，对慈善事业也是不遗余力。她享誉亚洲及西方乐坛，但在成功之余，她不忘与他人分享快乐。近年来，这位歌手将部分专辑版税注入中国乡村，在数地点开办学校。10月15日，新加坡知名女歌手何耀珊来到河南汝阳县，参加了自己捐资35万元建立的耀珊花朵小学新教学楼落成仪式，据了解，除这栋教学楼外，何耀珊今年还为汝阳县十八盘乡一所幼儿园和老城区培智学校分别捐款三万元和五万元。何耀珊捐资三十五万元人民币建设的河南汝阳县刘店乡沙坪小学新教学楼在当天竣工投用。从此，汝阳县刘店乡沙坪小学的五百多名学生就可告别破烂不堪的旧教室，搬进窗明几净的新教学楼上课了。曾经有“亚洲心灵天后”之称的何耀珊不仅作为歌手成功地在今年推出了她的新专辑《拥抱》，而且对社会公益和慈善事业一直十分热心。在刚刚闭幕的上海特奥会上，主题歌就是由她和中国歌手孙楠一起演唱的。何耀珊热心教育和社会慈善事业。近几年，由她创办的新加坡善爱有限公司分别在贵州、辽宁、重庆、河南等地的贫困地区捐助建设一所学校。何耀珊坚信教育是村民改善生活、打造未来的途径，对莘莘学子倍感关怀。有基于此，为中国教育做出贡献成为她个人的使命之一。至今，她已经在中国四个地点开办学校：重庆、贵州、辽宁(于此处她也赞助设立一间电脑室)，及河南。最近，她将35万人民币献予河南，在洛阳市刘店乡沙坪村，于一所现有学堂场所，盖了一栋崭新的教学楼。在耀珊设立新教学楼之前，由于建筑年久失修，南面教学楼早已在2005年3月拆除，而建于1989年的北面教学楼的墙壁也出现裂痕，每逢阴雨，课室还因屋漏而积水成患。失修的教学楼对师生安全构成威胁，被列为D级建筑。因此，刘店乡人民政府建议改善该小学的教学环境。耀珊闻之，决定向村民伸出援手。经过精心策划及与官方紧密配合，耀珊的慈善努力，终于在动土6个月后，于今年10月开花结果。名为“汝阳县耀珊花朵小学教学楼”的崭新建筑总面积1530平方米，于3层楼共有16间课室，可容纳800名学生，因此该小学现可提高收生人数。全新的教学设施将让全村900余人家获益。除了增添课室，此工程还包括添购教学设备，如：图书、多媒体教学器材。

Ho Yeow Sun Opens Fourth School in Henan, China

International pop star Ho Yeow Sun (also known as Sun Ho) is active in her profession as both recording artist and humanitarian. Even after gaining significant success in both the Asian and western music scene, the philanthropist at heart has recently extended her charitable causes into China. Over the past few years, the singer has been channeling her album royalties into building schools in various outskirts of the country.

For someone who believes in the importance of education, especially for the younger generation, Sun’s aim of contributing to the ongoing education in China remains clear and focused. To date, she has built four schools in China: Chong Qing, Gui Zhou, Liao Ning (where she also sponsored a computer lab) and Henan.

Her most recent project took place in Henan Province where her donation of RMB$350,000 (S$70,000) went into building a new block of classrooms for an existing primary school in Sha Ping village, which is located in the town of Liu Dian within Luo Yang county. The population here consists of just 3,300 people, most of whom have little or no formal education. The average annual salary of a villager is about RMB$1,500 (S$300).

The primary school was originally constructed in 1989 and had a capacity of 516 students in 12 classes. But due to a lack of architectural expertise during building, cracks started to appear and problems of water leakage also ensued. The rundown building began to pose danger to teachers and pupils, and was subsequently classified as D-grade.

Hence, the authorities in Liu Dian proposed to improve the current conditions of the school which prompted the singer to do something for the people in that village.

With careful planning and close collaboration with the relevant authorities, Sun’s altruistic efforts paid off in October at the official opening ceremony, six months after construction began in April this year. Among the list of luminaries who graced the event were Hu Guang Kun (China Communist Party Luoyang Municipal Party Committee Member), Zong Ting Xuan (Vice-Chairman of Luoyang Political Consultative Committee), Wang Zi Wen (Mayor of Ruyang Municipal People’s Government), Tong Yu Peng (Deputy Mayor of Ruyang Municipal People’s Government), Zong Yan Xuan (Chairman of Luo Yang Municipality Political Consultative Committee) and other officials from Ru Yang County and Liu Dian Rural Administrative Division.

The new building covers a total gross area of 1,530sqm. It boasts 16 classrooms over three levels which can accommodate up to 800 students, thus being able to increase its yearly intake from now on. With the school’s expanded facilities, the move will benefit some 900 families in the village. On top of the additional classrooms, the construction project also includes the purchase of teaching facilities such as library resources and multimedia teaching equipment.

Hi my fellow耀珊fans!

I just came back from the hospital with my dad & the chemo-doctor says that my dad is well! Yippee yeaahh! :) Blah, i hate sickness. Don't you just detest them? They are so evil... they come so quietly and before one knows, it jumps out & bites u! Well, now i just hope that the radio-doc will report well too. Check up is next month :)

Thinking of <收获> album brings back memories from 2006. The friends that listened to the album songs together, the fan cub gatherings with Sun, the times we spend at Changi Airport waiting for Sun etc etc are all so precious in my heart. Hi Guys!
不好意思，沒想到我消失了比自己預期還長的時間。美國的經理Justin幫我安排了一連串的活動，當然也花了很多時間和著名音樂人David Foster及Carole Bayer Sager一起錄歌。It was an amazing session। David在錄音室裏真的是很有趣，又好相處，Carole則是我遇過最"classy"的女生。我們坐下來一起討論、腦力激蕩地共同創作2008年北京奧運會的歌曲。我懷著一顆敬仰的心坐在當中，看著這些才子在我面前做他們最擅長的工作–making music! 我只要想到接下來的幾個月裏，我將與他們有更多的合作就很興奮地期待著。之後，我在salon和好朋友Ken Paves碰面。他是許多明星御用的頂級髮型師。他對我一向都很好。他才剛參加完MTV頒獎儀式，從Las Vegas飛回來，就馬上趕來salon幫我做頭髮、和我聊聊。他也是個很熱心做慈善工作的人，總會幫助患癌症的孩童，及那些長兔唇的嬰兒們。所以我們常聊到要怎樣更好地運用我們所得到的祝福來回饋社會。有點不幸的是他在Las Vegas剛發生一段不好的經歷，一直影響他的心情。本來他是應該爲Britney Spears的開場秀做髮型的。但演出那天却發生一些不愉快的事，讓他在show之前决定不爲Britney做髮型。當天看完Britney的演出後，I can only imagine the drama that happened behind the scenes!基本上整個音樂界都對她那天在VMAs的表演感到些許的失望。很多大力支持她的朋友都希望她能以一個很好的複出演出來證明之前的批評全是錯誤的。但結果這場表演却很慘，讓她更難堪，Sigh… 當我在看表演時，我的心很爲她感到難過。I wish the people around her would have told her that she’s not ready yet to perform on such a big platform and that she has to work out her life first before returning to the stage...大家還記得Britney剛進演藝圈的時候嗎？She was unbeatable! 她沒有特別好的嗓音，但她就是有一種能成爲超級巨星的架勢。Well … I believe in second chances … 希望她能處理好自己的生活，成爲她兩個孩子的好母親, 和回來演藝圈帶來更杰出的表現！C’mon girl … 揮掉一切critics對你的批評！(I’m not a great fan of critics as you can imagine! Haha …)
